Helisea VR
A downloadable game for Windows
In Helisea VR you take on the role of a door gunner on a chopper, in a world where mystical monsters have emerged from the sea to claim the mainland. Your mission is to protect the remnants of your people living on derelict oil rigs in the north atlantic using a fast response helicopter and the guns at your disposal.
- A twist on wave-based shooters where you are the door gunner on a helicopter.
- Protect allies from the encroaching monsters emerging from the sea.
- Use gestures to signal movement commands to the helicopter pilot.
- Unlockable weapons, and attachments to deck them out.
Use gestures to signal to the helicopter pilot to position the helicopter. Your success on each mission is largely determined by your ability to position yourself and your accuracy when shooting.
After each round the currency gained from successful missions may be used to buy new weapons and attachments which helps in subsequent missions.
Gestures are done by using the vive controller and moving your free hand while holding the trigger button.
Shooting is done by pressing the trigger on the hand holding the active weapon. To stabilize a weapon, the other controller can also be used to hold the handguard or a grip attachment.
Helisea VR currently only supports HTC Vive and Vive Pro headsets on windows platforms and mid range hardware.
The game requires 1 GB of storage space to install.

Reflection from the sun in the quiet sea. The whirling sound from the helicopter blades. You can almost smell the gunpowder as you blast away with your weapon. Sweat poring from my forehead as I do what I can to protect my allies. My hearth beating. The natural movements needed to perform in-game brings back the memories.
The waves can be withheld, but the memories can't. It's powerful, too powerful.
